It is interesting to check the fashion collections by the same designer. I also like to compare and contrast absolutely different collections searching for similar features which could show that the collections of one and the same designer are discussed. Christian Lacroix is a famous person in French fashion world. I would like to share my personal opinion about two his collections, spring 2009 and Rosa Clara Bridal Collection of 2010.

Christian Lacroix 2010 Rosa Clara Bridal Collection comprises two different epochs, two styles, historical and contemporary. It is impossible to omit the vintage elements of wedding dresses which seem extremely exciting in the combination with modern fabrics and prints. The collection is done in white color with grey and pink elements, like a fillet or a belt with a bow.

Lacroix spring 2009 collection contains white models as well. The dresses and trouser suits done in white seem too contemporary and overburden with different elements. Still, those elements fit the models perfectly. Lacroix spring collection of 2009 is not too bright. There are no beaming colors there, still, this collection may never be called dull and unimpressive. The variety of different colors, prints and fabrics in combination with style is really great.
